Dr Jorji Nonaka

Jorji Nonaka is a technical scientist at the HPC Usability Development Unit in the RIKEN R-CCS. His tasks include improvement of post-processing environment and user support for the Fugaku users, and his research interests include large data visualization and in situ processing. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from University of Brasilia, Brazil, and his Ph.D. degree in Informatics from Kyoto University, Japan. Before joining RIKEN, he worked with large data visualization as a post-doc researcher at Kyoto University and as a system engineer at KGT Inc., Japan, as well as a visiting adjunct professor at the department of mechanical engineering in the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil.
