Dr Susanne Rentzow-Vasu
Dr Susanne Rentzow-Vasu is the Regional Project Coordinator for EURAXESS ASEAN, a pan- European network that promotes borderless research cooperation and mobility between Europe and Southeast Asia. Concurrently she is the Director of her own consultancy providing political analysis and reporting on EU-ASEAN relations.
Prior to taking on her role at EURAXESS she headed the Information Centre Singapore of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as its Director from 2008 to 2012.
Susanne also held the post of Senior Policy Officer with the EU Delegation to Singapore with responsibility for the portfolios International Cooperation and Higher Education from 2003 to 2005. She holds a Master’s degree in European Union Studies from the University of Newcastle (UK) and a PhD in International Relations from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (UK).
